Optical Fiber Cable (OFC) continues to be the backbone of the digital world. The exponential rise in the digital population and the consequent explosion in data consumption is necessitating the increase in speed and bandwidth of OFC networks. Our OFC products and capabilities have constantly been evolving, enabling us to sustain the market leadership in OFC manufacturing.
1F to 1152F, our cable solutions are customizable for varied applications and customer requirements. Our OFCs are manufactured in fully automated and controlled environments at our three state-of-art manufacturing facilities in Goa, Chennai (Tamil Nadu), and Hyderabad (Telangana).

Intermittent Bonded Ribbon Cable

Intermittent Bonded Ribbon is a flexible fibre ribbon technology that provides a significant improvement in fibre cable packing density which can further offer significant reduction in weight and overall cable diameter when compared to traditional flat ribbon cable constructions. IBR can act as traditional ribbon for mass fusion splicing or can be broken down for individual fibre splicing. IBR technology can be used in Indoor, Indoor-Outdoor, and Outdoor cable constructions in both un-armoured and armoured types.

Applications

  • Underground Direct Burial
  • Backbone Network
  • High Density Access Network
  • Data Centre Solution

Salient Features

  • Ribbon construction: 144F - 3456F
  • High fibre packing density
  • Higher flexibility compared to legacy style ribbon cables
  • Appropriate for both mass fusion splicing and splicing individual fibres
